Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain workforce management strategies to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Analyze historical data and current trends to forecast future staffing needs and optimize resource allocation.
  3. Create and maintain staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage while minimizing labor costs.
  4. Monitor real-time data and performance metrics to identify trends and make adjustments as needed.
  5. Collaborate with HR, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment of workforce plans with business objectives.
  6. Develop and implement workforce management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  7. Utilize workforce management software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  8. Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management on workforce metrics, trends, and performance.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in workforce management to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in workforce management, including forecasting, scheduling, and analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in workforce management software and tools (e.g., workforce management systems, Excel, SQL).
  • Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Certification in workforce management (e.g., SWPP Certified Workforce Planning Professional) is a plus.
